oh boy, here i go again. Every year in DABR there are a slew of normal students who try to reason their way out of fights, get all weepy, and win by snapping or by luck, and every year, there are a few loose cannon psychos. This year, for the first time ever, I have one of the psychos! (well, ok, Adela went pretty crazy in her second match, but, this one is crazy ALL THE TIME! Yay!)

Alex is a can of mixed nuts. He has his lucid periods, and often desires affection more than anything else… but he knows he can’t have it. He is very aware of his condition—that he is a killer and a freak, and that nobody could ever care about him that way. He may attack and kill without provocation before the games even begin, or he may be friendly even toward opponents. It’s hard to tell with him. Needless to say, he is easy to set off, and particularly hates condescension, being ignored when he’s talking, or… any sort of negative interaction

He has been locked away in a mental institution for as many years as he can remember… which he can’t, much. His memory, like the rest of his mind, is scattered and full of gaps. He vaguely recalls having parents at one point, and blood… he remembers there was blood. He lives in a padded cell in a straight jacket, when he isn’t escaping and stabbing nurses with the hypodermic needles they came to inject him with. He’s been such a problem, that the doctors decided the best thing to do is to send him to his bloody death. It solves two problems; he’ll die, and he’ll have fun while he’s at it.

Physically, Alex is not very strong-- he spends most of his days in a straight jacket not moving his arms much. His legs are stronger than average, from all the pacing; but being insane, he lacks style, and is more likely to tear at an opponent with his hands than kick them. He has no martial arts or gymnastic training, but is a vicious hack-and-slash berserker. He will not do well against trained opponents, but may tear weaker ones to pieces.

Mentally, Alex is smart, maybe more than average, but his mind is too scattered and controlled by passionate mood swings for his intellect to be any use. He can’t focus long enough to set traps or avoid them. Doesn’t think things through.

Alex’s sex drive is something he’s never thought of before, never having seen a girl his entire life, save nurses. His reaction to girls may be as erratic as the rest of his behavior, but he will probably respond well to girls who try to get their way be flirting with him. He does just want to be loved, after all.
